The Story Behind The Transformation
Located within a traditional London terrace, Folded Space explored how an existing family home could be thoughtfully adapted to respond to changing residential demands while retaining the identity of its original setting.
The project transformed a three-storey house into three independent apartments, creating a balanced mix of residential spaces designed around modern living requirements. Rather than simply dividing the existing property, the approach focused on creating homes with individual character, functionality, and long-term value.
ATCO managed the complete delivery process, from concept development and planning approval through to technical coordination, Party Wall agreements, Building Control requirements, and construction management. By integrating design thinking with careful project coordination, the team ensured that every stage of the transformation remained aligned with both regulatory requirements and quality expectations.
