The Story Behind The Transformation
Set within a well-established residential neighbourhood in West London, Radbourne Avenue was guided by a clear ambition: to unlock the potential of a single property by creating two independent homes while preserving the qualities of individual living.
Rather than pursuing a conventional flat conversion, the project introduced two carefully designed maisonettes, each with its own private entrance and garden. This approach allowed the property to achieve higher density while maintaining the privacy, identity, and sense of ownership associated with standalone homes.
ATCO led the project through every stage of delivery, from planning strategy and technical design development to Party Wall coordination, Building Control approvals, and construction management. Through careful coordination and considered design decisions, the team balanced regulatory requirements with the demands of modern residential living.
